Dental implants are made from alloys with a high titanium content which resists corrosion, is biocompatible and integrates with the bone (osseointegration). Another very basic advantage of titanium in medicine is that it cannot be magnetized under any circumstances, since it does not contain any iron. This fact allows patients with titanium implants to be safely examined in a Magnetic Tomography (MRI). For this reason, titanium is widely used in medicine (orthopaedics, neurosurgery, dentistry, etc.).
